This meeting is jointly provided by the American Psychiatric Association and the Psychiatric Society of Virginia.

Overall Objectives
The Psychiatric Society of Virginia’s Spring Meeting in Richmond is entitled “The Future of Healthcare.” At the end of this meeting participants will comprehend the metrics and outcomes measures driven by the healthcare industry, understand trauma as an integral component of healthcare delivery and identify research in psychiatric genetic testing and the future application to novel treatment approaches.

Target Audience
This program was developed for Virginia Physicians to address current issues and hot topics in patient care and the future of healthcare.

Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Psychiatric Society of Virginia and the Washington Psychiatric Society. The APA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Attendees will pick up their certificates from the registration desk at the conclusion of the meeting on Saturday.

Designation
The American Psychiatric Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
