Overall Objectives
The Psychiatric Society of Virginia’s Fall Meeting in Chantilly is entitled “Integration of Care.” At the end of this meeting participants will be familiar with integration of care from the public perspective and able to outline a community model of integrated medical and psychiatric care. Attendees will be able to describe new trends in emergency room care and the step that follows emergency room admission.
Target Audience
This program was developed for Virginia Physicians to address current issues and hot topics in patient care and access to mental health care.
Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Psychiatric Society of Virginia and the Washington Psychiatric Society. The APA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Attendees will pick up their certificates from the registration desk at the conclusion of the meeting on Saturday.
Designation
The American Psychiatric Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
